Estimate Policy

Handyman Masters does work on a "Do and Charge" basis as well as a "Fixed Price" basis.
Our "Fixed Price" jobs include a margin for the "unforseens". In a fixed price estimate, Handyman Masters will do your job and we will wear the risk if the job costs more than anticipated based on the exact description of the works. If there are extras that were not included on the original estimate, they will be charged to you in addition to the other work.

Our "Do and Charge" jobs don't include a margin for the "unforseens". You and you alone, will be charged for "unfoseen" or extra items.

As part of our commitment to our clients we bill out weekly - ensuring that you know where your bill is at all times.  All sums not paid 7 days after receipt of the weekly invoice shall accrue interest calculated daily at a rate of 12% per annum with a weekly administrative fee of $50.00.

In either case, Handyman Masters has done its best to provide our customers with an accurate estimate. Handyman Masters has provided a price for only the items clearly listed in our estimates. If any work is requested and not clearly stated in the estimate then Handyman Masters will expect charge more for the additional work. Our estimates are valid for 180 days and may be adjusted if they have any changes to their labour rates.

Commitment to Quality 

To ensure Handyman Masters is not “just another builder” and to allow it to be differentiated from other companies,Handyman Masters has developed a “Ten Point Quality Plan “

Handyman Masters is committed to this plan and regularly monitors performance to ensure the commitments of the business through this plan are met.  The plan also provides a framework for supervision and performance management and ensures that all staff and contractors adhere to the ideals that Handyman Masters prides itself on.

The Ten Point Quality Plan is outlined below: -

Process:
    
1.    Quotations requests received in our office will be processed and completed within a reasonable time frame.
2.    Quotations are obligation free and include site inspection.
3.    Quotations will be price competitive, include GST and fixed for sixty (60) days.
4.    Building work will be completed within time stated on the contract.
5.    Invoices will be issued within five (5) days of completion of work.

The Client:
    
6.    The client will be treated with the utmost respect by Handyman Masters, particularly in regards to access times and site behaviour.
7.    The client will be kept informed on the progress of the project with any delays in progress being communicated to the client.
8.    All jobs will be supervised by qualified tradespeople.
9.    Handyman Masters will meet regularly to discuss and action any items necessary to ensure a seamless process is maintained. 
10.    Handyman Masters will ensure the interest is maintained at all times.
